Executive Order 2023-600 (Oct. 5, 2023)

On Oct. 5, 2023, Governor Beshear issued Executive Order 2023-600, creating the Team Kentucky Medical Cannabis Workgroup to study evolving medical cannabis industry policy and the state of medical cannabis policy in the Commonwealth. The Workgroup will make recommendations to the Kentucky Medical Cannabis Program and other state agencies.

Executive Order 2022-798 (Nov. 15, 2022)

On November 15, 2022, Governor Beshear issued Executive Order 2022-798, which grants a full, complete, and conditional pardon to any person accused of possessing marijuana under KRS 218A.1422, if certain conditions are met.

Executive Order 2022-338 (June 14, 2022)

On June 14, 2022, Governor Beshear issued Executive Order 2022-338, creating the Team Kentucky Medical Cannabis Advisory Committee to travel to the various regions of the Commonwealth, hold public hearings, and provide feedback to the Governor. The committee's purpose was to provide a forum for Kentuckians to voice their opinion on this issue better to inform Governor Beshear's consideration of executive action.
